中药学院的发展始于1972年成立的上海中医学院中药系，1996年正式更名为上海中医药大学中药学院。五十余年来，学院始终与国家中医药振兴发展同向同行，形成了完整的人才培养体系和鲜明的办学特色。
中药学学科是我国最早建立的中药学高等教育学科之一，1981年获批全国首批中药学硕士学位授权点，1986年获批全国首批博士学位授权点，1997年建立博士后科研流动站。学科先后获批国家重点学科，连续两轮入选国家“双一流”建设学科，中药学、药学（中外合作办学）两个本科专业均入选国家级一流本科专业建设点，为我国中医药高层次人才培养和国际化药学人才培养作出了重要贡献。
学院现有在编教职员工137人，其中高级职称占比68.3%。学院主动对接国家中医药发展战略和上海生物医药产业布局，以国家医学攻关产教融合创新平台、中药学国家级实验教学示范中心、上海市重点现代中药产业学院建设为抓手，持续深化产教融合，推动教育链、人才链、产业链和创新链深度融合。
中药学院坚持以国家战略需求为导向，以“双一流”建设为引领，以现代中药产业学院建设为抓手，持续深化教育教学改革，加强有组织科研，推进科教融汇和产教融合，完善拔尖创新人才培养体系，推动中药学与人工智能、生物医药、智能制造等领域交叉融合，不断提升服务健康中国和中医药传承创新发展的能力。
二、院长岗位职责和应聘基本条件
（一）岗位职责
1．全面负责学院教学、科研、学科建设、人才培养和行政管理工作，制定并落实学院发展战略规划，聘期内显著提升学院教学科研水平、学科建设水平和国际影响力；
2．打造符合未来学科发展要求的师资队伍，提升学院师资队伍整体实力，聘期内学院培育和引进的高水平人才数量显著增长。
（二）基本条件
1. 政治素质好，具有较强的大局意识、奉献和担当精神，作风正派，团结协作意识强；身心健康，全职到岗；
2. 熟悉医学高等教育和人才培养规律，具有国际化的学术视野、前瞻性的学术思维，具备较强的组织领导和对外交流能力，具有带领学院可持续、高质量发展的能力；
3. 具有中药学、药学、生命科学或相关学科专业背景，在本研究领域有较高的学术造诣。海外应聘者应具有知名大学教授职位，或者在国际知名研究机构具有相当职务；境内应聘者应具有博士学位及正高级专业技术职务、博士生导师资格。符合下列条件之一者，优先考虑：①院士、国家高层次人才计划入选者、国家杰出青年基金（青年基金A类）获得者、岐黄学者；②以通讯作者身份在相关领域顶尖或权威刊物发表具有原创性、引领性的学术论文；③牵头承担国家级重大专项、重点研发计划，或国家科学技术奖核心完成者；
4. 管理干部同时还应符合《上海中医药大学干部选拔任用工作条例》的相关规定。

Announcement of Recruitment for Dean of the School of Pharmacy, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SHUTCM) was founded in 1956 and is one of the first higher education institutions of Traditional Chinese Medicine established in the People's Republic of China. It is jointly built by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the Ministry of Education, and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Located in the heart of Zhangjiang Science City, SHUTCM is committed to aligning with national strategies and contributing to the development of a globally influential center for scientific and technological innovation. Leveraging its disciplinary and comprehensive strengths, the university takes on the important responsibilities of deepening the reform of TCM higher education, advancing independent innovation in TCM, and leading the high-quality development of TCM.
SHUTCMis authorized to confer doctoral degrees in three first-level disciplines: Traditional Chinese Medicine, Pharmacy, and Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, and one professional degree category (field) in TCM. It offers 16 undergraduate programs, 5 undergraduate continuing-education programs, 3 postdoctoral research stations, 4 National Key Disciplines, 2 National Key Disciplines (under cultivation), 38 key disciplines designated by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and 4 disciplines supported by Shanghai's Peak and Plateau Disciplines initiative. The university has trained and supplied specialized TCM professionals at various levels for the nation. It has 4 national-level research platforms, including a National Innovation Platform for Industry–Education Integration in Medical Research, a State Key Laboratory, and a National Engineering Research Center, as well as 14 major provincial and ministerial-level research platforms, including Innovation Center for Pre-clinical Research of the Ministry of Education, Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, Shanghai Key Laboratory, Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Center, and Shanghai Frontier Science Research Base. The School of Pharmacy traces its origins to the Department of Chinese Pharmacy established at Shanghai College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1972 and was formally renamed the School of Pharmacy at Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1996. Over more than five decades, the school has developed a comprehensive talent-training system and distinctive educational strengths, consistently advancing in step with the national revitalization and development of TCM.
Pharmacy is one of the earliest higher education disciplines in China. It was among the first in the country to be authorized to confer master's degrees in Pharmacy in 1981 and doctoral degrees in 1986, and established a postdoctoral research station in 1997. The discipline has been recognized as a National Key Discipline and selected in 2 rounds of China's Double First-Class initiative. Both the undergraduate programs in Pharmacy and Pharmacy (Sino-foreign cooperative education) have been recognized as National First-Class Undergraduate Programs, making important contributions to the cultivation of high-level TCM professionals and internationally oriented pharmaceutical professionals.
The school currently has 137 faculty and staff members, 68.3% of whom hold senior professional titles. It actively aligns its work with the national strategy for the development of TCM and biomedical industry priorities in Shanghai. Leveraging the National Innovation Platform for Industry–Education Integration in Medical Research, the National Demonstration Center for Experimental Teaching in Pharmacy, and the Shanghai Key Modern Chinese Medicine Industry School, the school continues to deepen industry–education integration and promote the close integration of the education, talent, industry, and innovation.
Guided by national strategic needs and the Double First-Class initiative, and supported by the development of the Modern Chinese Medicine Industry School, the school continues to deepen educational and teaching reform, strengthen organized research, advance the integration of science and education, as well as industry and education, improve its system for cultivating outstanding innovative talent, and promote interdisciplinary integration between Pharmacy and fields such as artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and intelligent manufacturing. II. Responsibilities and Requirements

1) Take overall responsibility for education, research, disciplinary development, talent cultivation, and administrative management within the school; formulate and implement the school's strategic development plan; and significantly enhance the school's teaching and research capabilities, disciplinary development, and international influence during the term of appointment.
2) Build a faculty team that meets the future development needs of the discipline, strengthen the overall capabilities of the faculty, and achieve a significant increase in the number of high-level talents cultivated and recruited by the school during the term of appointment.
2. Requirements
1) Demonstrate strong political integrity, a broad sense of responsibility and commitment to the overall interests of the school, dedication, integrity, and a strong spirit of teamwork; be in good physical and mental health and available for full-time employment.
2) Be familiar with the principles and practices of higher medical education and talent development; possess an international academic outlook and forward-looking academic vision; demonstrate strong organizational, leadership, and international communication skills; and have the ability to lead the school toward sustainable, high-quality development.
3) Hold an academic background in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related discipline, with a high level of academic achievement in the relevant research field. Overseas applicants should hold a professorial position at a renowned university or an equivalent position at an internationally recognized research institution. Domestic applicants should hold a doctoral degree, a senior professional title, and qualifications as a doctoral advisor. Priority will be given to candidates who meet any of the following criteria: (1) academicians, recipients of national high-level talent programs, recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (Youth Fund Category A), or Qihuang Scholars; (2) corresponding authors of original and pioneering academic papers published in leading or authoritative journals in the relevant field; or (3) principal investigators of major national special projects or key national R&D programs, or core contributors to National Science and Technology Awards.
4) Applicants serving as management cadres must also meet the relevant requirements stipulated in the Regulations on the Selection and Appointment of Cadres of SHUTCM.
